Sessions that expire
The session token expires after 24 hours, forcing a fresh login.
Two-factor authentication
2FA with TOTP and backup codes. Failed login or code attempts are rate-limited by IP.
Encrypted credentials
Passwords are stored with bcrypt hashing, and HANA credentials are stored encrypted, decrypted only when running a query.
Parameterized queries
Every filter coming from the browser goes through validation and helpers that prevent SQL injection.
One session per profile
If a profile logs in on another device, the previous session is closed and the user is notified.
